UV Index Forecast
Forecasting the dangers of the sun is often an area overlooked, as it was over my 10 years of designing these graphics. However, the UV index often proves to be the most important (or even dangerous) point of the forecast some days when there isn't much precipitation to forecast.
With this UV index forecast package, you get the ability to forecast the expected UV index range over as many days as you'd like. This set was designed with 5 days in mind, however you can extend that number higher or trim it down lower without any impact on overall readability.
Each day bar design comes with a preset for each tier/level of expected UV index, including:
- 1 - 2 (low)
- 2 - 5 (medium)
- 6 - 7 (high)
- 8 - 9 (very high)
- 10 - 11+ (extreme)
Each of the aforementioned presets also come in PNG format, with a blank bar for each risk level as well if you prefer not to see the UV index numbers on each day's forecast tile.
The upper third is also included as a blank PNG asset in 3 variations: the one seen in the previews, one with white trim (instead of orange), and one with black trim.
The UV index key is included in PNG format in two variations: 1 as-seen in the preview, and one without the black background bar.
This package also includes 6 background variations in JPG format.
Lastly, as always, this design includes a fully-editable Photoshop document, while the included image assets allow you to utilize this template in a program of your choice.
